
Meet Our Founder
Bryson Monteleone boasts nearly 30 years’ experience in both the corporate and commercial aviation industry. With an extensive background in aviation finance, specifically aircraft appraisal and valuation, lease advisory, aircraft technical consulting, and aircraft remarketing.
Most recently he finished a seven-year tenure with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Senior Advisor to the PwC Ireland Aviation Finance Advisory Services (AFAS) team where he supported client remits around portfolio valuation, due diligence, transactional advisory and served as a Subject Matter Expert for the global audit teams that worked with lessors, airlines and investors.
Throughout his career Bryson has worked closely with, and advised - airlines, aircraft leasing companies, aircraft manufacturers, governments, rating agencies, institutional and alternative investors, and banks. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on aircraft finance, leasing and valuation, he is requested frequently to brief and provide advisory to investors that are looking to deepen their aviation exposure and better understand aircraft values, maintenance forecasts and market dynamics.
Bryson is recognized as a ISTAT Certified Senior Appraiser Fellow, of which there are only five (5) that have achieved this designation for attaining Certified Senior Appraiser status along with contributions to the ISTAT Appraisers Program. In his capacity as a Certified Appraiser he has provided both valuation and technical due diligence assistance to both buyers and sellers of aircraft, including current market appraisals and on-site physical inspections of the aircraft and associated records, along with end of lease and return condition analysis in conjunction with an operating lease.
Prior to PwC Bryson worked in the corporate aircraft space helping to manage a program to convert regional jet aircraft into corporate business jets. This not only included the branding of this entity and creating a global marketing initiative, but also deep-rooted analysis integrating both commercial and corporate markets. He also placed a portfolio of commercial aircraft for Sale/Leaseback on behalf of a European flag carrier.
During the down cycles Bryson worked closely with the institutional investor and banking communities as they looked to liquidate and restructure aircraft defunct portfolios, in this role he was appointed aircraft remarketing agent where he successfully sold and placed a fleet of regional aircraft on behalf of a large insurance company and a European bank. He also managed the sale of a secured interest in a portfolio of aircraft while the fleet remained on-lease at a US flag operator.
Bryson remains a visible member of the global aviation community as he continues to speak at conferences and teach workshops worldwide. He has also been interviewed several times by leading media outlets such as: CNN, Bloomberg Television and Radio, NPR, along with leading industry recognized publications.
Bryson served as the Chair of the ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Traders) International Appraisers’ Program (IAP) for six years and remains a member of the ISTAT Board of Directors until 2027, and currently Chairs the ISTAT Sustainability Committee, along with being a Board Member of impact for sustainable aviation.
